Overview Rehab Tech Overview:

The Rehabilitation Tech will perform supportive services to the Rehabilitation Department under the direction of the Rehab Director.

Responsibilities Rehab Tech Responsibilities:

• Transports patients as directed.
• Assists therapists with treatment.
• Coordinates scheduling with the nursing staff.
• Prepares patients, treatment areas, equipment and supplies for treatment.
• Maintains awareness of change in patient census and programs.
• Follows established procedures pertaining to the care of equipment and supplies including completion of cleaning logs.
• Ensures that adequate office supplies and supplies for treatments are maintained.
• Completing forms and records, making copies, filing forms, obtaining necessary signatures and maintaining orderly and accurate patient records including completion of Triplecheck forms.
• Assists with patient and or staff schedule on a daily basis.
• Runs and analyzes reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to assist in department operations, compliance, and patient management procedures and communicates information to appropriate individuals. IND123 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications/Requirements
• Must have a minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
• A minimum of one year health care experience preferred.
• A minimum of one year office experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred.
• Must be proficient with basic computer skills
• Strong organizational skills in order to effectively maintain multiple projects simultaneously.
• Requires creativity as well as the ability to work independently.
