Position Highlights The Bath Aide primarily assists with bathing needs while creating a spa-like, pampering experience and promoting resident dignity and well-being. The Bath Aide promotes the residents' overall well-being through meaningful, attentive caregiving and relationship building. The Bath Aide may also contribute and assist other Caregivers in the household with physical cares, activities, meals, restorative therapy, and other general tasks as needed. The Bath Aide/Caregiver skills and tasks are performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines and regulations in a safe and efficient manner.
REQUIRED
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. On-the-job training available.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved. Completion of the Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter. Current active Nurse Aide Certificate from Iowa Nurse Aide Registry. CPR Must demonstrate competency and skills necessary to provide care to geriatric residents. Complete all education and training as assigned.
