Job Description

JOB FUNCTION
: To perform all necessary design using input information and equipment provided.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design any item assigned by supervisor or management. Design projects which include creating prints, dxf files, solid models, prototypes and anything else which management may decide on. Strives to ensure that items created will be correct and fulfill input requirements. Continuously improves design process to eliminate as much as possible inefficiencies in manufacturing or prototyping. Keeps work area clean and orderly.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
May be assigned any other task deemed necessary by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be considerable. Work may involve some heavy lifting and bending.
