Position Highlights Under the supervision of the physical therapist, the Therapy Aide transports patients, prepares patients for treatment, prepares equipment for treatment, performs patient housekeeping duties, assists the therapist in selected procedures, and assists with receptionist or clerical assistant for the department.
REQUIRED
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved. Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
