1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a Home Health position requiring 1 year of experience and current BLS certification. Details Home health care setting covering a territory with a 40-80 mile radius Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Mileage reimbursed at $0.55/mile for travel within territory EPIC charting system used No on-call requirements No weekend requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience required Current BLS certification required Experience with EPIC charting preferred MO or compact state license required (license required if applicable) Pending license accepted at time of consideration Additional Information First-time travelers accepted Gray scrub color required No local candidates accepted within 75-mile radius Maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract, with no RTO during the first week of assignment Permanent BJC or Saint Luke's employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler Standard travelers may stay up to 18 months, followed by a required 3-month break in service Provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients in their homes Experience with infant, child, and adolescent home health care is a valued additional skill
