Job Description

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant! Developing Potential Inc , a leader in providing day habilitation services to adults with developmental delays and disabilities, is seeking a enthusiastic and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. This position will work independently while adhering to our individuals that we serve prescribed treatment plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Treat individuals served as directed by a licensed therapist and within care plan. Demonstrate a positive attitude and team-building approach with all individuals served and team members. Consistently attends work and provides appropriate notice for scheduled paid time off Maintains productivity standards as determined by supervisor and clinical needs. Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of regulations. Treat individuals served according to treatment plan. Record clinical documentation according to accepted regulatory and professional guidelines. Electronic Charting and Assessment of Individuals Served Communicate with supervisor and other team members regarding individuals served progress, needs, and plans. Participate in team meetings as required or directed. Perform other duties as required or directed Assist with cleaning maintenance of treatment area and department Report any problems with site equipment to appropriate personnel so that it is maintained in good working order.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSURE
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Assistant Program Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants Current registration/licensure as a Occupational Therapist Assistant
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to move (walk, stoop, bend, stand, sit push, pull, and lift) intermittently throughout the workday. Must possess sight/hearing senses, or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately, so that the requirements of this position can be fully met. Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with individuals, team members, and management. Must be able to lift patients, medical equipment, supplies, etc. to 70 lbs
Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
