C042416 Position Summary ND Global Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a reliable and compassionate Therapy Transporter to support the rehabilitation team by safely transporting residents to and from therapy. The Therapy Transporter will also assist with resident transfers, positioning, treatment-area readiness, equipment handling, and maintaining smooth resident flow throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities Safely transport residents between nursing units, therapy areas, appointments, and designated facility locations. Assist with transfers between beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and therapy equipment using approved body mechanics and facility procedures. Coordinate resident flow with therapists and nursing staff. Promptly communicate delays, refusals, changes in condition, or safety concerns. Prepare wheelchairs, stretchers, and treatment areas. Assist with positioning residents as directed by licensed staff. Clean and sanitize transport and therapy equipment after use. Maintain an orderly and safe environment. Protect resident dignity, confidentiality, comfort, and safety at all times. Minimum Qualifications At least 3 months of experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation facility. Ability to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, bend, and assist residents using safe lifting and transfer techniques. Reliable attendance and respectful communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team. Ability to follow clinical and safety instructions. Must complete facility credentialing before start, including required physical examination and TB/PPD documentation. Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and complete required documentation.
