Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full time, 4 day work week position. In this position you will play a vital role in enhancing pediatric functional skills and independence. In this position, you will deliver compassionate, skilled therapy services in an outpatient pediatric setting in Muskogee and/or Tahlequah. Your expertise will help patients achieve their therapy goals through personalized care plans and evidence-based interventions. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working within a collaborative and supportive team. Your schedule will typically be Tuesday-Fridays with a built in lunch break daily (12-1 pm) and optional paid time for documentation at the beginning and end of the day. Responsibilities Implement and modify individualized care plans developed by licensed therapists, ensuring goals are met efficiently Provide therapy services in outpatient clinic setting Support pediatric patients by applying specialized techniques suited to each child and education to parents and families Utilize your knowledge and expertise to accurately assess patient needs and progress Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining detailed records aligned with medical terminology and healthcare standards on electronic EMR Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans that optimize patient outcomes and ensure seamless communication Skills Expertise in pediatrics with an understanding of age-specific therapy techniques. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach that encourages motivation and engagement. Familiarity with medical terminology used in therapy documentation and communication within healthcare teams.
