Summary:

The Rehabilitation Aide is trained to assist therapy personnel and provide clerical support services in the rehabilitation setting. This individual will perform tasks as designated by a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) and/or Occupational Therapist (OT), PTA or COTA. The assigned tasks will not require clinical decision making by the Rehab Aide. The Aide will perform a large variety of clerical and general office duties in addition to clinical support duties. The Aide is responsible for organization and preparation of patient charts. The Aide will need to be familiar with the referral intake process and various payment sources that may or may not require primary care physician referral. This individual will maintain rehabilitation equipment, supply inventory management, and cleanliness stocking of treatment areas.

Requirements:

Minimum five years prior experience in the rehabilitation setting. May also be an active student in a Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Program. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications. This individual must also possess the ability to multi-task effectively in high demand situations.
