MPOWER Physical Therapy is looking for an Occupational Therapy Technician to join our Midtown clinic team. This position is PRN so it is as needed. The OT Tech with licensed occupational therapists to support patient care and clinic operations in a fast-paced, outpatient orthopedic setting. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, dependable, patient-focused, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. What You'll Do Assist patients with their prescribed exercise programs by providing appropriate instruction and cueing under the direction of a licensed occupational therapist. Apply appropriate therapeutic modalities under the direction and supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. Communicate consistently with therapists regarding patient progress, concerns, and quality of care. Help support an efficient daily schedule, including patient reminder and scheduling calls. Confirm patients have future appointments scheduled before leaving the clinic. Assist with cancellation-rate management and support the clinic goal of maintaining a cancellation rate below 10%. Assist with directing, transferring, and transporting patients to appropriate treatment areas to support smooth clinic flow. Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic throughout the day. Monitor equipment and communicate inventory or maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, safety, and practice compliance standards. Utilize computer systems and software necessary to perform job responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
