Key Responsibilities:
Provide quality occupational therapy interventions to patients in a rehabilitation setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans. Document patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists and healthcare teams. Maintain compliance with all licensing, safety, and healthcare standards. Execute therapy sessions efficiently within designated schedules and modify approaches as needed.
Qualifications:
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with Texas license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 1 year of LTC experience. Prior experience in rehabilitation settings. Experience working with diverse patient populations. Ability to work 1-3 days per week with flexible scheduling. Willingness to commute 45 minutes to 1 hour to the facility. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
