K-12 Schools Help Students Build Skills for Success We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a collaborative school team in Concord, California. In this rewarding part-time role, you'll work alongside licensed Occupational Therapists and educational staff to help students develop the functional skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Responsibilities Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group settings. Support students in developing fine motor, sensory, self-care, and classroom participation skills. Document student progress and maintain accurate treatment records. Collaborate with OTs, teachers, administrators, and families to support student success. Assist with adaptive equipment recommendations and classroom modifications as directed. Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license. Previous pediatric or school-based experience is preferred but not required.
