PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) St. Francis Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. $55-$60 per hour , based on experience Position Summary ThePRN COTA
will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to providing patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide therapeutic activities designed to improve patients' strength, mobility, coordination, and independence with daily activities. Accurately and timely document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes. Monitor patient responses to therapy and communicate changes to the supervising Occupational Therapist. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families on therapy techniques, safety strategies, and home exercise programs. Maintain compliance with facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification in good standing. Current California COTA license in good standing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred but not required.
