2996663462-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Seabright School and Therapy Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to support K-12 students in school settings. In this role, you'll deliver direct and group OT services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, implementing IEP goals and using evidence-based, school-focused interventions. You'll collaborate closely with teachers, families, and related service providers, adapt classroom tasks and environments, track progress, and maintain compliant documentation. Responsibilities Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students under supervision of an OTR/LImplement IEP goals using evidence-based school-based OT practices Document sessions, progress notes, and assist with data collection for IEPs Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families to support student participation Adapt classroom materials and environments to improve access and independence Support OT evaluations through observations and standardized/non-standardized measures as assigned Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and student-planning discussions as appropriate Travel between assigned school sites as needed and manage schedule efficiently Maintain compliance with school district, state, and ethical documentation standards Engage in ongoing professional development related to pediatric and school-based OT Required Skills Pediatric occupational therapy School-based OT practices IEP implementation and documentation Therapeutic activities and interventions Sensory integration strategies Fine and visual-motor skill development Assistive technology and classroom adaptations Data collection and progress monitoring Collaboration with educational teams Electronic health/school record documentation
