$34.00-$40.00 per hour, DOE Join Our Rehabilitation Team Jurupa Hills Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to help residents regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' daily living skills, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence. Accurately document treatment sessions, resident progress, and outcomes. Communicate resident status and treatment updates with the therapy team and interdisciplinary staff. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment. Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education as directed. Qualifications Current California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current CPR certification preferred. Skilled nursing facility (SNF), post-acute, or rehabilitation experience preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
