Skills and Qualifications:

Current, valid COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license required Previous experience in a school environment or with K-8 populations strongly preferred Solid understanding of the unique developmental and learning needs of elementary and middle school students Ability to adapt quickly when traveling between multiple campus locations Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude Capable of following treatment plans and recommendations provided by supervising

OTs Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students as outlined in their individualized education plans (IEPs) Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and daily living abilities Document progress, maintain accurate records, and provide feedback to supervising OTs Assist in conducting screenings and assessments under the guidance of district OTs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to reinforce therapeutic goals in the classroom setting Maintain flexibility and organization while managing therapy across multiple school sites
