Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school setting and make a meaningful impact as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This full-time, contract position runs the remainder of the school year, with an immediate start—perfect for those eager to help students thrive in their academic environments. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current COTA license in California Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred Passion for working with children and adolescents Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to organize and manage a diverse caseload effectivelyKey Responsibilities:
Assist in assessing student needs and develop tailored intervention plans in collaboration with supervising OTs Implement therapy activities and monitor student progress across various grade levels Document session outcomes and maintain thorough records Communicate regularly with educational staff and families to foster holistic student development Support classroom participation, fine motor skills, and functional independence Adapt activities and environments to maximize student engagement This contract role offers the unique reward of seeing students achieve their personal and academic goals in an encouraging school atmosphere.
