About the Opportunity Nanny Village is recruiting a Certified Occupational Therapist for a boutique private school serving neurodivergent elementary-aged children. Join a well-resourced multidisciplinary team where occupational therapy is part of everyday classroom learning. Working closely with teachers and the Director, you will help students build independence, develop functional skills, and participate confidently in their school day. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary of $80,000-$95,000, based on education and experience 100% employer-paid medical and dental benefits Vision benefits available 401(k) with employer contribution Approximately 38 days of scheduled school breaks annually 12 paid holidays 10 days of paid sick time Tuition reimbursement Ongoing professional development Responsibilities Provide individual and small-group occupational therapy through classroom-based and pull-out sessions. Develop fine motor, visual-motor, and coordination skills that support handwriting, classroom activities, and daily tasks. Create individualized sensory and regulation strategies to support student engagement and learning. Help students develop self-care skills and independence in school routines. Recommend adaptive tools, seating, equipment, and classroom modifications. Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments and prepare clear evaluation reports. Develop and monitor individualized student goals in collaboration with the Director. Partner with teachers to incorporate OT strategies into daily classroom activities. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support family communication as requested. Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation. Required Qualifications Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program. Active California Occupational Therapist license. Current NBCOT certification as an Occupational Therapist Registered (OTR). Experience supporting autistic or other neurodivergent children. Strong knowledge of sensory integration, sensory processing, and regulation strategies. Understanding of child development and its relationship to learning and daily functioning. Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience. Experience in a private, independent, or non-public school. Advanced training or certification in sensory integration. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, full-time, with approximately 204 workdays aligned with the school calendar. Occasional work outside regular school hours is required.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
