Job Description

Make an impact in education by supporting students across a vibrant school district as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). This rewarding, onsite contract role offers the chance to serve children from kindergarten through high school, covering a maternity leave through the end of the school year. You'll work itinerantly, engaging with multiple campuses and making a valuable difference to approximately 50 students on your caseload.
Key Qualifications:
Current, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure in California Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Flexibility to travel between district sites Passion for fostering student growth and independence
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in K12 as outlined by their IEPs Collaborate closely with supervising OTs, educators, and support staff to implement therapy goals Adapt interventions and activities to promote student participation and success in academic settings Maintain accurate records of services, progress, and documentation in compliance with district and state standards Travel to various school locations within the district to deliver services This is an exciting opportunity to shape young lives and contribute meaningfully to an educational community.
