9689944-80831 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and make a meaningful impact supporting students of all ages across a dynamic K12 setting. This full-time, contract position runs through the end of May 2027, offering the chance to work in an engaging, itinerant role where each week brings fresh collaboration and learning moments. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an enthusiasm for helping children and adolescents reach their full potential, strong communication skills with students and staff, and flexibility in managing a diverse caseload. The position offers a scheduled 37.5 hours per week, and compensation will be $35.87 to $38.62 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
Active Colorado licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt communication style for different age groups Understanding and application of best practices for supporting students with varying occupational therapy needs Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
Responsibilities:
Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing therapy plans for students ages 518 Provide direct and consultative services to meet a variety of developmental and educational needs Document treatment sessions and progress notes in accordance with school guidelines Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to promote student success in both academic and functional contexts Maintain ongoing communication with supervising OTs and participate in IEP meetings as required If youre ready to bring your skills and passion to a supportive educational environment and play a pivotal part in student achievement, we welcome your application.
