This position offers the chance to work 35 hours per week, supporting K-12 students as they develop vital skills for academic and personal success. Qualifications:
Current COTA certification in Connecticut is required. Must have a strong background in recent school-based settings. Demonstrated excellence in clinical skills and implementation of occupational therapy interventions. Full-time availability; part-time applicants cannot be considered. Effective communicator adept at working with students, educators, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy support and interventions to students across grades K-12. Collaborate closely with other educational professionals to create supportive, individualized plans. Document student progress and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school and regulatory requirements. Facilitate student participation and independence within educational settings. Offer guidance and support to classroom staff regarding specific student needs and accommodations.
