The Waverly Group Role Summary An Occupational Therapist plays a vital role in Waverly Group's collaborative, multidisciplinary pediatric team by providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to children with a variety of developmental, behavioral, and learning needs. This position combines direct therapeutic intervention with comprehensive assessment, individualized treatment planning, and close collaboration with families, schools, and fellow clinicians to support each child's functional independence and overall development. An Occupational Therapist provides individualized therapy, conducts evaluations, develops home exercise programs, and maintains timely, accurate clinical documentation. As part of our integrated care model, this clinician works closely with psychologists, behavior analysts, physical therapists, educators, and other specialists, including supporting children with autism receiving services within our ABA clinic. Occupational Therapist Responsibilities Work with OTR to develop a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities Provide direct occupational therapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults Provide home exercise programs Administrative duties, including documentation, treatment planning, progress notes, and communication with families, multidisciplinary team members, schools, and outside providers as needed Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and collaborate with team members, families, and schools Set up the gym for evaluations/sessions and maintain a clean gym environment after each therapy session/day Provide 1:1 intervention in occupational therapy Work with children with autism in our ABA clinic as a supportive team member Sensory integration training or certification is not required but highly valued Perform other clinical and administrative duties as required
Compensation & Benefits Compensation :
$70,000-$75,000 annually; paid bi-weekly
