Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Hold an active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license in Delaware Previous experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a school environment Passion for providing evidence-based, student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy support for students under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist Implement therapy goals and individualized plans designed for educational settings Provide direct and indirect interventions to facilitate student participation and independence in the classroom Document progress, maintain accurate records, and report outcomes to teachers, parents, and team Assist with adaptations, strategies, and resources to meet diverse student needs
