Occupational Therapist Assistant - PRN Position Job Summary Washington Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide quality therapeutic services that help residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy treatments as established by the Occupational Therapist. Assist residents in improving activities of daily living (ADLs), including dressing, bathing, grooming, eating, and functional mobility. Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic interventions. Monitor resident progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and resident progress. Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and adaptive equipment. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and resident care planning. Qualifications Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehabilitation setting preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
