Qualifications Occupational Therapy Assistant License Full Job Description Role Overview:
The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy to patients, aiming to restore their physical abilities within legal and facility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow state-specific laws and treatment plans set by supervising OT Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapies Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members about therapy
Qualifications & Skills:
Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments
Preferred:
