Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with pediatric experience to join our dedicated therapy team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate therapy services to children with a variety of needs and diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist. Provide direct therapy services to children in clinic, school, or home settings. Support children in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care skills, and play. Document daily treatment notes and progress reports in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Communicate effectively with the supervising Occupational Therapist, parents, and interdisciplinary team members. Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education. Help maintain a clean, safe, and engaging therapy environment.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) . Active state license (or eligibility) to practice as a COTA in Florida. Pediatric experience preferred (clinical or work setting). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for working with children and families.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with sensory integration, autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, or early intervention services. Familiarity with documentation platforms such as Clinicsource. $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
