Job Summary Echelon Therapy Services is looking for a great COTA to join our growing therapy team for approximately 3 days per week in the Homosassa area at our partnered assisted living facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a COTA who wants meaningful patient care without committing to a traditional full-time schedule. The ideal candidate is flexible, team-oriented, and dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care. Experience working with geriatric populations or in community-based settings is preferred. Responsibilities Treat patients in accordance with established care plans Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient transitions across care settings Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems while maintaining confidentiality Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercises, and community resources for ongoing support Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company standards Qualifications Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in Florida Strong clinical and communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams effectively Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and patient management Why Join Echelon?
