Full-Time or Part-Time Clinic Only Therapy Sessions- No Travel Flexible Schedule Speech Innovations is growing, and we're hiring an experienced, compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our collaborative team of Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. OCCUPTATIONAL THERAPIST
you will: Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions Support children in developing the skills needed for everyday activities and greater independence Implement treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs Improve safety and participation in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) Teach clients and families strategies to simplify daily tasks and promote success Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate Educate and support parents and caregivers throughout the therapy process Accurately document treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes Participate in follow-up care to ensure continuity and optimal patient progress
Qualifications Required:
Active Florida OTR or COTA license Availability during after-school hours Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach Preferred Minimum of 1 year of pediatric occupational therapy experience
Pay:
$33.00 - $60.00 per hour
