Responsibilities Assist occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for children. Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote independence. Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist. Educate families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety. Qualifications Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required. Experience working with pediatric patients is highly preferred. Strong understanding of ADLs and therapeutic interventions. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children and families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
