We are looking for someone who can work a flexible schedule. We work on 1 patient an hour to increase quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 personal care with each patient. Allows for proper treatment.
• Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Work with patients to improve their ability to perform daily activities and tasks.
• Help patients develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic techniques, such as exercise, stretching, and use of adaptive equipment.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience working with geriatric patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with occupational health and outpatient care settings.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
