Full Job Description Duties:
  • Assist in the implementation of occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising therapist.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for maximizing functional independence.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Requirements:
  • Valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant or OTR
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with occupational health principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
