Pediatrics Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L or COTA)•Full-Time Caseload at PPEC Conway, Orlando, FL | 1099 | $40•55/hour Team Pediatric Therapy is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or COTA to join our team with a full caseload at a PPEC in the Conway area of Orlando . This is a unique opportunity for an OT who loves working with children with complex medical needs and wants the consistency of treating patients in one location rather than traveling between natural environment patients. The Opportunity Full pediatric caseload located at one PPEC in the Conway area $40•55/hour as a 1099 contractor Consistent patient population without driving between treatment locations Work alongside PT and SLP colleagues Opportunity to provide COTA supervision for an additional weekly stipend Strong administrative and Therapy Director support Who We're Looking For We are especially interested in an
OTR/COTA
who is passionate about and knowledgeable in treating medically fragile and medically complex children . The ideal candidate is comfortable with: Developmental delays and complex diagnoses Positioning, adaptive equipment, and functional mobility needs Fine motor, sensory, self-care, and developmental interventions Collaborating with caregivers, nursing staff, and other therapy disciplines Adapting treatment to a child's medical status and tolerance Recognizing when a child's presentation requires modification of the treatment plan or escalation to the appropriate medical team Pediatric and/or medically complex experience is strongly preferred. Qualifications Active Florida Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant license Pediatric experience strongly preferred Experience with medically fragile or medically complex children strongly preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary care environment Why Team Pediatric Therapy?
