Job Description

We are seeking a warm and highly motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our boutique pediatric occupational therapy practice. Our clinic offers a more personalized approach to pediatric care—one that is intentionally small, highly individualized, and family-centered . We believe exceptional therapy is about more than achieving clinical goals, it is about building meaningful relationships, creating confidence, and helping each child thrive in the environments that matter most to them. The Opportunity This position will begin part-time, with the opportunity to build toward a full-time caseload as the practice continues to grow. This is a clinic based position with opportunities to provide service in local schools or clients' homes if desired. What You'll Do Provide thoughtful, individualized occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate treatment that supports each child's unique goals and interests Establish strong, trusting relationships with children and their families Incorporate play, creativity, movement, and evidence-informed therapeutic strategies into treatment Support children in developing skills related to fine motor development, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, regulation, and participation in daily activities Collaborate closely with supervising OTs, parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals Maintain timely, thorough, and professional documentation Communicate with families in a warm, thoughtful, and professional manner Contribute to a positive clinic culture where children and families feel genuinely known, valued, and supported The Ideal Candidate You are someone who: Holds current COTA certification and meets state licensure requirements (required) Has a genuine passion for working with children and families Brings warmth, confidence, professionalism, and enthusiasm to every interaction Is creative and comfortable thinking outside the box during treatment Values high-quality, individualized care over a one-size-fits-all approach Is dependable, organized, and takes pride in their work Communicates exceptionally well with both families and colleagues Is comfortable working independently while appreciating the support of a close-knit clinical team Has pediatric experience or a strong interest in developing a career in pediatric occupational therapy Why Join Us?
