Role:

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) at Vivo Healthcare Wauchula, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a COTA, you will work closely with our occupational therapy team to design and implement individualized therapy plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans Conduct therapy sessions with patients, focusing on activities of daily living, mobility, and functional skills Use a variety of techniques and adaptive equipment to promote independence and coordination Collaborate with other members of the care team to ensure holistic care and support Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment

Requirements:

A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team Possession of a valid driver's license (if applicable)
