Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic services to pediatric clients with a variety of developmental and physical needs. The ideal candidate is energetic, patient, team-oriented, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families. Responsibilities Assist licensed Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for pediatric patientsConduct therapeutic activities that support fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, daily living skills, and overall functional developmentMonitor patient progress and communicate updates, concerns, and observations to the supervising Occupational TherapistEducate families and caregivers on treatment goals, therapeutic strategies, and home activities to support continued progress outside of therapy sessionsMaintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, treatment sessions, and progress notesEnsure therapy sessions are engaging, safe, and developmentally appropriateCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive patient careMaintain professionalism and uphold patient confidentiality and ethical standards at all times Qualifications Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) requiredActive state licensure/certification in good standingStrong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and pediatric therapeutic techniquesPediatric experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with children and familiesAbility to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environmentPassion for helping children achieve developmental and functional goals Benefits & Perks 401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offFlexible scheduling opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team cultureOpportunities for professional growth and development
