Key Qualifications:
Current clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) Active educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) Previous experience working in school-based settings highly valued Strong collaboration and time management skills for an itinerant schedule Preparedness to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting
What Youll Do:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students according to individualized educational plans Travel between schools within the district to provide specialized COTA support Help foster student independence and participation in classroom and daily activities Work closely with Occupational Therapists, teachers, and families to enhance student outcomes Contribute insights to the multidisciplinary team, attending evaluations, meetings, and professional development sessions as required This contract-based, full-time assignment starts as soon as possible and extends through early June 2027, offering 35-37.5 hours per week (7-7.5 hours per day). Youll play a vital part in enriching students school experiences through hands-on, personalized care, with exposure to all school-age populations and a variety of caseloads.
