The Therapist Assistant (Occupational or Physical) is a licensed professional who provides patient care under the direction of a licensed therapist within their respective field of expertise, and according to their scope of practice. Caseload is primarily consisting of the adult and geriatric population, but within certain responsibilities, there may be inclusion of infants, children, and adolescents. Based on scope of practice, the Therapy Assistant must be a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) Valid OTA license and registration with State of Illinois BLS certification through AHA required Graduate of an accredited licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant program We strongly encourage you to include an updated resume when submitting your application.
