9643380-60073 Job Description Enjoy a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. This onsite role involves covering a maternity leave from August 17 (or as soon as possible) through September 28, working 2128 hours per week (3 to 4 days). Youll work closely with special education staff within self-contained autism programs, helping students achieve their IEP goals and reach their fullest potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students based on individual education plans. Collaborate with teachers and specialists to foster student access and participation. Support development of functional skills within self-contained classroom settings. Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and consultations as needed. Maintain accurate and timely therapy documentation according to school protocols.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant training program. Certified (or eligibility for certification) as a COTA by the Board of Registry of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a COTA in the State of Illinois. Experience working with pediatric or school-based populations preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
