Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active COTA certification required Previous experience in school environments is preferred Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and school-based therapy protocols Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse school staff and students Ability to efficiently organize, adapt, and multitask in dynamic settings Commitment to timely and accurate documentation of all services provided

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) Ensure all therapy-related documentation is completed promptly and accurately according to school and regulatory guidelines Prepare and assist with therapy activities and materials to enhance student participation and outcomes Work closely with teachers, support staff, and administration to address and support students occupational therapy goals Flexibly perform additional tasks as directed by the supervising OTR to support student success This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated professionals while providing valuable support to students who benefit from occupational therapy.
