We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Reid Home Health team. The OTA will work collaboratively with the OT and other interdisciplinary team members to plan, implement and evaluate occupational therapy services for patients in their homes.

Responsibilities:
Assess patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include exercises', adaptive techniques, and use of assistive devices to improve patients functional abilities. Teach patients and family members about home safety, adaptive equipment, and strategies to manage daily activities effectively. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress, treatment plans, and modifications to therapy programs for compliance and regulatory standards. Monitor patients progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet changing needs. Utilize outcome-based measures to assess the effectiveness of therapy interventions. Collaborate and communicate patient's change in condition with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other home health team members. Job Requirements Associates of applied science (AAS) degree in occupational therapy assistant studies or a related field. Active registered OTA license in the state which you practice Must obtain and maintain current CPR/BLS Certification One-year Occupational Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting. Current Drivers License Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations Ready to Make a Difference?
