This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on students lives from PreK through high school, working directly with a supportive special education team. Youll play a key role in helping students access their education by implementing individualized occupational therapy programs.
What Youll Contribute:
Carry out occupational therapy plans designed by a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) Provide direct support for students therapy goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success Document treatment activities and student progress efficiently and accurately Prepare therapy materials and assist with adaptive activities Travel between multiple school sites (mileage reimbursement available) Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervising
OTR Qualifications & Experience:
Active Indiana Occupational Therapy Assistant license and current IPLA certification Pediatric or school-based experience preferred Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel among sites Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
