9679168-02324 Job Description Embark on a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting students by providing essential occupational therapy services in an educational setting. This contract role, beginning as soon as possible and expected to run through Novemberwith a strong possibility for extensionwill allow you to make a difference while covering for an FMLA leave. The specific caseload details will be discussed during your interview, ensuring your expertise is matched to the unique needs of the students.

Qualifications:

Holds current licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Massachusetts Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic educational environment Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, families, and other school staff Passion for promoting student success through therapeutic interventions What youll do: Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy supports to students as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Work collaboratively with the supervising Occupational Therapist to design and implement effective treatment plans Help students develop or improve motor skills, organization, self-care, and independence necessary for classroom participation Document student progress and maintain compliance with school, state, and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights regarding student performance and therapy strategies
