Desired Qualifications and Experience:
Current Massachusetts state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience in school or pediatric settings preferred Proficient communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Ability to adapt activities and interventions for varying student needs Organized, proactive, and dedicated to supporting student achievement
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist Assist with evaluations, implement approved treatment plans, and track student progress Support students in developing motor skills, adaptive strategies, and independence in classroom routines Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
