Category Schools - COTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with a contract role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This part-time position is based just outside Quincy, MA, and offers a chance to make a meaningful impact during the remainder of the school year. Working two days per week, you'll collaborate closely with educators and therapists to provide essential services that promote student growth and success. Qualifications we're looking for: Valid COTA certification in Massachusetts Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Ability to build rapport with students ranging from K-12 Collaborative approach to working with teachers, OTs, and other support staff Strong organizational and documentation skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment Your responsibilities will include: Delivering direct therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) Assisting the supervising Occupational Therapist in adapting classroom tasks and environments Documenting student progress and maintaining accurate records Supporting children's fine motor, sensory, and functional skills for better classroom participation Communicating effectively with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and progress Participating in team meetings and contributing to ongoing program development This role provides an ideal balance for professionals seeking a flexible, part-time schedule without sacrificing the opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic K-12 environment.
