9660833-02169 Job Description An exciting opportunity awaits for an enthusiastic and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to make a meaningful impact on students in the K-8 age group. This contract role spans from now through December 18th, with a manageable caseload and flexible workdays, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life. If you are passionate about supporting children's growth and helping them succeed in a school environment, this role is an excellent fit.
Qualifications:
Valid COTA credential or certification is required Experience in school-based occupational therapy settings is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families Compassionate approach to working with children from diverse backgrounds
Role Details:
Start as soon as possible, continuing through December 18th Work between 20-25 hours per week across 3-4 days Serve a caseload of students in grades K-8 Deliver support services, implement IEP goals, and document student progress Work closely with Occupational Therapists and other team members to create positive student outcomes Provide adaptive tools, support fine motor development, and reinforce essential life skills in educational settings Youll enjoy a competitive starting rate of $35 per hour, with the added benefit of weekly pay and a comprehensive array of insurance options including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage.
