Through the End of School Year 2026-27

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in a school-based setting in Somerville, MA. This is a part-time opportunity, working 3 days per week, with the assignment continuing through the end of the 2026-27 school year.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy support and interventions under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Implement individualized therapy activities based on student needs and treatment plans.
  • Support students in developing functional, motor, sensory, and daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to support student progress.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate student progress as required.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Massachusetts COTA certification/license required.
  • Experience working with children or in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
