What You'll Do:
Support clinical interventions under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatments to patients with cognitive and/or physical disorders Administer procedures like ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and use of assistive devices Assess patient progress and communicate updates to supervising OT Document treatment activities and patient responses accurately in electronic health records Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure effective patient care plans Support patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery goals Supervise and support students under OT supervision as assigned Adhere to all professional practice acts, codes of conduct, and ethical standards
What You Need:
Active State Licensure/Registration (when applicable) 1+ year of experience in occupational therapy assistance preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to support patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment About the
