Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team for a 14-week assignment. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care, helping individuals improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities Monitor and document patient progress and report updates to the supervising therapist Guide patients in the use of adaptive equipment and techniques Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility standards Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients during therapy sessions Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements:

Active COTA certification Valid state license (Maryland) Previous experience as COTA min. 6 months Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Additional Information:

Travel pay is available for candidates residing 50 miles or more from the work location Competitive compensation package
