This position involves caring for both voluntary and involuntary adult admissions, working in a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Position Highlights:

• Ideal two weekends per month - Saturday and Sunday 8a-5p
• May pick up additional coverage shifts during the week
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, treatment planning, and patient education
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams and referring physicians
• Opportunity to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and care model development
• Follows policies and procedures consistent with Maryland state regulations and medical best practices

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of a psychiatry residency program
• Active Maryland medical license (or eligibility), DEA, and CDS certifications
