• Rumford, ME | 2026-2027 School Year Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time opportunity in Rumford, Maine during the 2026-2027 school year.

This position will serve a K-12 caseload and is ideal for a COTA who enjoys supporting students across a variety of ages and developmental needs.

Position Details:

• Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized interventions and activities based on students' IEP goals.
• Support fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records.
• Collaborate with the supervising OT, teachers, families, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with strategies and accommodations that promote student participation and independence in the school environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active or eligible Maine COTA licensure
• NBCOT certification as applicable
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
